Simple beta note The file-transfer service is not active yet. This page explains the privacy direction for PhotosHere in plain language. A proper privacy policy will be published before public use.

The idea

PhotosHere is being designed as a temporary photo handoff tool, not a social network, cloud album, or long-term storage service.

What we want to avoid

  • No account for casual use.
  • No public photo gallery.
  • No selling personal data.
  • No raw public email addresses on the site.
  • No tracking scripts on this placeholder site.

What the future service may need

When the beta opens, the service will need limited technical information to work and prevent abuse, such as room IDs, upload/download timestamps, approximate request information, file sizes, and short-lived logs.

Photos and videos

The planned service is temporary. It should not be used as backup or permanent storage. Client-side encryption and automatic expiry are part of the design work.
